Where do you find all these people?
It wasn’t easy, especially in the beginning that my portfolio was rather short. Generally, I use social media to look for my subjects. Facebook, Instagram, etc.
What gear do you use?
Cameras : Nikon D610, D750
Lenses : Sigma Art 35mm f1.4 (my fav), Nikkor 14-24/24-70 f2.8, Nikkor 50mm f.14
Light sources : 99% of the time I shoot with natural light where I might also use a reflector. When the light is crap, I might use a speed-light.
Where do you edit your images?
Post processing happens in both Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. It takes me on average an hour and a half to process an image for high end retouching so please be patient ;)
Can you give me some details regarding the photoshoot?
For portrait sessions, first we have an initial chat to discuss details like concepts, location, clothing, etc, and then we meet and shoot. It usually takes 2-4 hours. Following the best photos are selected, edited and then shared with you in high resolution. I usually produce on average 5 photos.
For events (conferences, exhibitions, weddings, etc) you need to let me know at least two weeks in advance if it’s during a weekday. If it’s outside Amsterdam, travel and accommodation(if needed) expenses must be covered as well.
